Now, a UFO over Sydney Harbour Bridge spotted on Google Maps

Just found this on the net can anyone post the picture of it on this thread fpor others to see. What grabbed my attention was the fact that it says "NOW" implying now this minute.

I am not in Australia therefore, I cannot comment as to whether or not its a flying saucer or indeed true.

It's not a UFO, you can clearly see the shadow of it on the right, and it is a tower of some sort.

looks like a job for Internos, Chad; I don't know enough to be able to make a statement either way, but it is interesting; looks almost like a reflection of a desk lamp.

In my opinion, it's most likely a lens flare, but since part of the image is missing, it's very difficult to assess whether the direction of the light is consistent with this theory: to crop a photo like this is like to rip off pages from a book
Anyway, here are some examples of lens flares showing a similar feature at the top of the saucer-shaped object:




I vote lens flare, but that's just my opinion, ant it's definately inconclusive, especially if the Sun wasn't somewhere in the upper-right area relatively to the center of the photo.

It is the Streetview shot of the UFO.

As you mention the sun is directly above and slightly to the right of the object.

Thanks Chadwickus: i thought it was just a link to the google map's location: it's 100% lens flare:

i can see the feature now, and it's consistent with the position of the Sun.
